Who is Agent Fran™ for?
Not everything works for everyone, and that's fine. Here's who I built this for — and who would be better served somewhere else. Either way, you'll find what actually helps you.
See who it’s for — and who it’s not
Yes, this is for you
- ✓You're a licensed P&C agent who wants to get into trucking properly
- ✓You already write trucking but feel like you're guessing
- ✓You're a CSR or service staff at a transportation agency
- ✓You own an agency and your operation grew without structure
- ✓You'd rather study in Spanish, or train a bilingual team
- ✓You're opening your own agency and want it built right from day one
You might be better served elsewhere if...
- —You don't hold an insurance license yet. You need your state P&C before any of this is useful to you.
- —Your license is life, health or annuities. Everything here is commercial property & casualty.
- —You've written trucking for years and already know filings, appetites and underwriting cold. The courses will feel basic — look at mentorship or Systems instead.
- —You're a trucker or fleet owner looking for a quote. I train agents — I don't sell policies here.
- —You want purchased leads or a ready-made book. That doesn't exist here — and be careful with anyone who promises it.
- —You need business registration, EIN or filings paperwork. That's a different brand, not Agent Fran™.
Agent Fran Academy™
Self-paced courses, for two different roles.
An agent quotes and binds. A CSR services the policy. Different jobs, so different courses.
Trucking Insurance Producer CourseFrom Zero to Bind
My process for taking a trucking account from first contact to a bound, onboarded policy, built as an interactive course you work through at your own pace. For licensed P&C agents and new producers who want to write trucking the right way: read a USDOT in SAFER, understand the real operation, classify the risk, build the submission — and stop sending accounts to the wrong market.
The course is taught in English. Lessons, exercises and the final exam are all in English.
By the end you can
- Read the operation. USDOT vs. MC, operating authority, SAFER and CSA — and what each one tells you about the account.
- Evaluate before you quote. Spot red flags early and know when to pause, escalate or walk away.
- Match the coverage to the loss. Auto Liability, Cargo, Physical Damage and the supplemental layers — and which one actually responds.
- Build a submission underwriters work. Intake, choosing the right market, a professional submission, and presenting the quote.
- Bind with control. Bind folder, signature control, cleared funds, filings at bind — then onboard the client the right way.

Done for you
Agency Setup
Two versions of the same work: we build the operational backbone your agency should have had from day one.
New agency
You're opening your own agency. We set up compliance, folder structure, accounting, commission and renewal tracking, SOPs and systems — from zero and ready to run.
Trucking division
You already have an agency and want to open trucking. We train the team, build the niche's processes and forms, and support you through your first accounts until they run on their own.
Starts at $2,500 · final scope depends on what you need
Agent Fran Systems™
Tools I build for your agency.
Software made for transportation agencies, not generic templates. The Agency Hub is the foundation — the other builds plug into it. Try each demo right here and configure your own build with pricing.
Market Finder
Your market appetite, searchable. Your team enters the operation type and instantly sees which carrier writes it, instead of asking you.
Agency Hub
Your entire operation in one place. Agency and trucking processes, templates, SOPs, bilingual glossary, onboarding and team tracking — plus an AI assistant trained on all of it, so your staff stops asking you the same thing every day. The other builds live inside it.
Guided Intake System
An intake with conditional logic that adapts to every answer. It carries help fields and scripts, and fires alerts as it is filled: when a client answers something, the system tells you which document to ask for next. When it is done it generates the submission-ready PDF to email your MGAs, and it stays in history so you can edit it later.
Agency Commission Tracker
An Excel model built for insurance agencies: reconciles the carrier statement against what actually came in, calculates each producer's payout, and flags the commissions that never arrived.
Proposal Builder
Upload the quote PDFs or photos and the system pulls the information out on its own — almost no manual entry. Out comes a proposal in your agency's branding that the client compares side by side and signs right there. Send it by email from inside the system, see when they opened it, and everything stays in history.

About
I don't teach trucking from theory. I write it every day.
I moved to Texas in 2013 and started in the industry at an auto agency. In 2014, at 24, I opened my own independent agency — with no money, no connections and no experience. I found my niche in trucking insurance and have been building and running commercial agencies serving Texas ever since.
Everything I teach comes from real accounts, real markets and real mistakes. And all of it exists in English and Spanish, because when I started, nothing did.

What people ask most
Do I need an insurance license to take the courses?
For the agent course, yes — it assumes you already hold a P&C license. The CSR course doesn't require one, because it covers service work, not selling or advising.
Is everything available in Spanish?
Not everything. The Trucking Insurance Producer Course is taught in English — lessons, exercises and the final exam. The guide and this website exist in English and Spanish. If you’re comfortable with technical insurance English, the course is for you.
What's the difference between the guide and the courses?
The guide is the full body of knowledge in print, for reference and study. The courses turn that knowledge into interactive lessons, labs and simulations, with a capstone and a final assessment. Most people start with the guide.
Do you offer one-on-one consultations?
Only through the mentorship levels, with limited spots. No one-off consultations or discovery calls — the courses and guide cover almost everything a consultation would.
What does back-office support include?
Agency bookkeeping, commission reconciliation and recurring admin work. Scope is defined with you before we start, because every agency keeps its numbers differently.
Do you work with agencies outside Texas?
Yes. Training and systems aren't state-dependent. For market-specific work, where you operate does matter, and we discuss it first.
How long does an Agency Setup take?
It depends how far you want us to go. Message me with what you have and what's missing, and I'll send back a scope with phases and timing.
